A free information and documentation service is available in the area dedicated to visitors’ reception. The service provides access to the Museum of Rome database (where all the historical collections of paintings, sculpture and decorative arts, as well as of the Photographic Archive and the Cabinet of Prints, are catalogued) through two pc-workstations and the book consultation, documenting and illustrating the topics, the collections and the artists represented in the Museum. One section contains specialist periodicals. It is also possible to consult books preserved in the Library of the Museum of Rome, currently located at the fourth floor of the building, inaccessible to the public. The loan is not available.
Tuesday and Wednesday - h 10.00 - 13.00 / 14.00 - 16.00 maximum number of presences: 3 users.

Rules for access and consultation
In compliance with the regulations in force, access requires the presentation of the Covid-19 green certification (Green Pass), accompanied by a valid identity document.
Visitors are kindly requested to measure their body temperature using a thermal imaging camera at the entrance, sanitize their hands and wear a mask during their stay.
A form with your data and contact details must be completed to ensure availability (the use of a personal pen is recommended).
Individual users will be assigned a seat in the reading room.
